The mission of Daily Bread is to serve the poor, the hungry and the homeless with dignity, a daily hot meal and access to hygiene services. Together with community partners, Daily Bread provides food collection, distribution services and access to social and educational agencies which help clients become self-sufficient.
Daily Bread serves over 93,000 meals each year and distributes enough food products to over 28 pantries to provide another 1.4 million meals; but food is only the starting point. By supporting this non-for-profit, you become part of a network that aids and guides the most vulnerable people in the community. Your support is needed to continue this mission.
Many thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers and attendees for making the October 7th event a great success! Father Bergin and Our Lady of Lourdes located in Melbourne graciously allowed a last minute venue change to their parish hall due to inclement weather. Chef Charles Cervon from Palm Bay’s Caribbean Kitchen donated his time and talent to help the outstanding kitchen staff create an amazing meal. Sheriff Ivey was once again the highlight of the evening, acting as auctioneer and guest speaker which helped raise funds for Daily Bread. Sassy Photo Booth captured many great moments. Intracoastal Brewing Company supplied great craft beers and Creative Cakes donated the desserts. The event was held from 6p-10pm. Mother Nature did not cooperate, but the local community did… attendance and donations exceeded goals!
