Financial Assistance for College Education (F.A.C.E.) Scholarship Gala

The mission statement for F.A.C.E. is a nonprofit organization of community members whose sole purpose is to give back to our young men and women by assisting them with college tuition. Through an array of fundraising events, F.A.C.E. provides financial assistance to our leaders of tomorrow.
In her welcome message, President Audrey Livingstone wrote, F.A.C.E. formerly Fifty Plus and Bridging, Inc., hosted their twenty-first anniversary Scholarship Award Gala on Saturday, March 23, 2019 for the benefit of the scholarship fund.
Fifty Plus and Bridging was founded in 1998 by Terrilyene Watson Nunez. Mrs. Nunez, a retired professional woman, committed and dedicated to Bridging the generation gap by providing academic scholarship and donations to Palm Bay deserving Youths. She was eagerly joined by 11 other professional women making an even dozen.
We at F.A.C.E. continue on the same path focusing on Education by awarding academic scholarships for attendance at Brevard colleges covering tuitions and or books annually. Our goal for the future is to branch out to all counties in Florida. We sponsored events, organized with partnering organizations; which benefit the kids Day Camp and Christmas party. Fifty Plus and Bridging involvement extended and did include the Masters Workshop.
Fifty Plus and Bridging received the Inaugural Space Coast ONYX award for public service in 2009 and was recognized by the Mayor of Palm Bay for outstanding contributions to the community. We have changed our name to F.A.C.E., but we will continue to work and benefit the students of tomorrow. We do fundraising events throughout the year, all of which benefit the Scholarship Awards Fund.
The organization has been received and successfully appreciated by all of you. We at F.A.C.E., also recognize a man and a woman of the year. These are individuals who have helped in our community and is also very involved in the youths of tomorrow. I invite you to take membership in this valuable and worthwhile Organization as we strive to continue in providing Financial Assistance for College Education to our leaders of tomorrow. We are F.A.C.E.
