Shiloh AME Juneteenth Celebration with Civil Rights Attorney Benjamin Crump

On Sunday, June 25th Shiloh AME Church, Pastor Joyce Harvey celebrated Juneteenth with a powerful service with guest speaker, Civil Rights Activist Attorney Benjamin Crump. His message was simple:

“Without Struggle there can be no Progress!
As long as we are struggling we are making progress. We have to celebrate everyday and embrace it.

Average men take in easy project…Great men take on difficult hare projects. People are afraid to challenge the status quo. You must speak Truth to Power whenever you get a chance. Even if it’s controversial, it’s inconvenient or your knees are shaking and palms are sweating…You must speak Truth to Power!
In the words of Malcolm X, I am for Truth no matter who tells it.”
