The Grand Opening and Official Ribbon Cutting of Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation washeld on Saturday, October 12th at 1039 Harvin Way in Rockledge. Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation is the first black owned funeral home in Rockledge. Funeral Director in Charge and Owner, Jeremy J Taylor and Wendy Taylor, CEO and Owner have already began serving families with excellence and compassion “Making the Difference.”

Jeremy Taylor extended his gratitude to the attendees and reflected upon his early childhood desire to be a funeral director and funeral-home owner. Wendy also acknowledged her late husband, Robert Taylor, referring to him as “our angel with the best view.”

Bishop Frank Matthews, pastor of The House of God Church, Jacksonville pronounced the Blessings of the Facility which was followed by the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony conducted by the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce. Tours of Taylor Funeral Home and vehicles were also given. And, guests were graciously presented with keepsakes and scrumptious refreshments served by A Taste of Elegance and Sweet Treats by LaDonna LLC.
