Solange Knowles receives 2022 NYU Global Trailblazer Award
Solange Knowles is receiving the 2022 NYU Global Trailblazer Award for Creative and Artistic Excellence on March 8 as NYU celebrates International Women’s Day. She will also be the featured guest on March 8th for a conversation on innovation and women’s leadership as the NYU Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity and Strategic Innovation launches the NYU Women Lead: A Global Leadership Accelerator and its Global Black Women Leadership Initiative.
Through her multidisciplinary platform, studio, creative agency, and curatorial project, Saint Heron, Solange uplifts and empowers the work of Black and Brown creatives through a range of innovative projects.
Building from the work of NYUWomxn100, the inaugural program for NYU Women Lead: A Global Leadership Accelerator will feature Knowles in conversation with Dr. Lisa Coleman.
