Space Coast Habitat for Humanity Dedicates Home in Rockledge

Nearly 15-months after Space Coast Habitat for Humanity broke ground at 816 Kentucky Avenue in Rockledge, a home dedication ceremony was held. The home was a part of the Women’s Build program which provides affordable homeownership for hard-working individuals and families. Owner, Florence Lajoie an employee with Brevard Public Schools said, “it’s truly a blessing to finally be a homeowner!”
Space Coast Habitat for Humanity, Inc is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global nonprofit housing organization. Habitat’s mission is to seek to put God’s love in action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. The global nonprofit housing organization’s vision is to provide a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The organization has served more than 607 families across Brevard since 1985.
