The House of God Church, Keith Dominion Hosts Annual Back-to-School Fun Day & Backpack Giveaway

The House of God Church, Keith Dominion in Palm Bay opened its doors and its heart to the community on Saturday, August 2, for its annual Back-to-School Fun Day & Backpack Giveaway. The event, held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 2186 Washington St. NE, brought families together for a day of support, celebration, and preparation for the upcoming school year.

Children received free backpacks, school supplies, clothing, shoes, and socks, giving them a strong start as they head back to the classroom. Parents expressed gratitude for the resources, while kids enjoyed the festive atmosphere filled with laughter and activities.
The day wasn’t just about supplies—it was about joy. Families enjoyed a bounce house with a water slide, snow cones, popcorn, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, snacks, and cold drinks. The event created an atmosphere of fun while meeting an important need for families in the Palm Bay community.

Leadership for the event included Bishop Clary K. Butler Sr., Chief Overseer; Rev. Marlene Toney, Pastor; Rev. Bellamy Alexis, Pastor’s Helper; and dedicated Y.F.F.U. Committee Members. Together, they ensured the day was both meaningful and memorable.
The Back-to-School Fun Day has become a staple of the church’s outreach, reflecting its mission to uplift families and equip children with the tools and confidence they need to succeed.
