Mayor Eric Adams hosted a vigil in the city in honor of those killed during last weekend’s mass shooting in Buffalo, NY.

The vigil was held at Monday night at Bethel Gospel Assembly – Destiny Worship Pavilion in Harlem.

Ten Black people were killed when white, 18-year-old gunman Payton Gendron opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo last Saturday. Gendron is being charged with first-degree murder and the shooting is being investigated as racially motivated.
