Benedict College Band plays in Harlem

Harlem honored the HBCU Benedict College Marching Band of Distinction in the plaza at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Building. The 250-plus marching Tigers Band will represent the HBCUs in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Al Taylor, the Hon. Inez Dickens and the Hon. Robert Rodriguez. Mayor Eric Adams presented a proclamation to Benedict College President Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis, who thanked the city and the Harlem community for their support.
